Resum

Nos dias de hoje é consensual a importância atribuída ao empreendedorismo para o crescimento económico e para a criação de emprego. Neste contexto, a educação para o empreendedorismo reveste-se de particular relevância. Na verdade, ainda que existam atualmente diversos estudos aplicados às metodologias de ensino do empreendedorismo em classes presenciais, este assunto continua subestudado no que respeita às classes virtuais, onde a distância física pode inviabilizar o uso de algumas metodologias relatadas e correntes em diversos estudos sobre esta matéria. Assim, este trabalho pretende enquadrar o que se entende por Digital Storytelling, reforçando a sua relevância para o desenvolvimento de competências empreendedoras, atendendo às suas particularidades e tecnologias mais apropriadas, e, ainda, apresentar um estudo sobre a aplicação desta metodologia numa turma virtual de empreendedorismo na Universidade Aberta. Os resultados do estudo de levantamento de perceções dos estudantes sugerem benefícios na aplicação do Digital Storytelling no ensino do empreendedorismo em classes virtuais.
